This is by far the safest and most cost effective method. Currently we can work to a height of 45 feet (almost 14 metres). Traditional window cleaning however still has its place and advantages sometimes. This can be done either from the ground, using poles, or up a ladder. For example some of our contracts involve internal window cleaning which of course we do by the mop and squeegee method. Most of the small shops we weekly clean for are also done this way. Window cleaning is often carried out on higher buildings using powered access which can reach heights in excess of 60 metres. Other contractors require the use of abseiling equipment.
